NHR 9510-1000 Regenerative Grid Simulator

The NHR 9510-1000 Regenerative Grid Simulator is an advanced 4-quadrant system designed for testing and validating high-power grid-tied applications. With extremely precise voltage and current regulation, it can provide up to 1000 kW, or 2362 kVA, of power in a variety of combinations. Because of its many output configurations, it can operate in both single- and three-phase modes, which makes it perfect for a variety of power simulation jobs. With voltage ranges of 10 to 350V RMS L-N and current ranges of up to 2250 A (per phase) or 6750 A (in single-phase mode), the simulator offers remarkable flexibility. With a 10 mHz resolution and a frequency range of 30 to 120 Hz, it can be used for a variety of purposes.

The NHR 9510-1000 is designed with Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHIL) simulations in mind. This is an essential feature for grid-tied technology research labs.. In order to provide high precision and responsiveness for PHIL applications, its integrated power amplifier mode enables real-time signal amplification. For real-time testing scenarios that need precise simulation of grid disturbances and dynamic power circumstances, this simulator is ideal because of its dual-range output and powerful analog input for per-phase control.

The NHR 9510-1000 is intended to meet difficult grid-tied testing requirements, such as low voltage ride-through (LVRT) scenarios. It can build exact test patterns using pre-programmed macros that allow for output variations at the sub- and multi-cycle levels. These characteristics make it excellent for ensuring compliance with industry standards like as UL1741 and IEEE1547.1, particularly for "enter service" tests that need long-term monitoring and precision timing.

An optional advanced digital measurement system is also included with the simulator, which makes it easier to record important information during extended testing. Instead of using more complicated instruments like oscilloscopes, users can more quickly track crucial time points and assess compliance by providing an event list.
